Red Industries sponsored Adrian Spencer looks back at the previous four rounds of the Hirefit King of Epynt Championships as the driver for the Adgespeed rally team in his new Subaru Impreza WRC S11:

Round 1:MELVYN EVANS MOTORSPORT TOUR OF EPYNT
The challenge started on 13th March, where the 1st round saw the Adrian finish in 4th position overall –  an error in stage 3 saw him lose 13 seconds and so just miss out on a position in the top three. This put him in a solid 3rd place at the start of the King of Epynt Championship.

Round 2:P.A.R.C GARAGE DIXIES HISTORIC CHALLENGE
The second round of the championships saw Adrian and Mark win the 2nd rally of their career with 12 fastest times from 12 stages – winning by 1 minute 13 seconds. This fantastic result put the team into the lead of the King of Epynt championship.

Round 3:WELSH MARCHES MINI EPYNT
An off road excursion dropped the team down to 46th position, but they managed to work their way back to finish 6th overall and keep them in a top 3 position as King of Epynt championship contender, increasing their points lead.

Adrian Spencer - DamageRound 4:HARRY FLATTERS RALLY
Despite a collision with an unfortunate sheep on the way round, the team finished the fourth stage in 2nd place overall. The damage to the car was cosmetic and there was no mechanical damage, however it does mean they won’t be racing in the final round. Adrian is top of the leader board for the King of Epynt Championships and the team at Red have our fingers crossed! Watch a round up of events.

The final round will be held on the 28th August – as the top three scores across all the rounds are taken into account, the team are still in with a shot of winning.
