Communities We’ve Helped
We’re proud to be part of the local community and are always looking for ways that we can give back. Supporting the Big Community Clean Up campaign is a fantastic way for us to do this – the campaign is helping local people across Staffordshire and Cheshire give their communities a refresh. This is a fantastic project and we’re delighted to be supporting Signal Radio with it.
Sneyd Green Park
Sneyd Green Park was unsafe for the local children to play in due to litter, broken glass, and offensive graffiti. Local volunteers and the team from Signal Radio went in to clean up the area and make it a safe and enjoyable place to play.

St Joseph’s Catholic Academy
The habitat area at St Joseph’s school was unused and locked up as it was unsafe for the children to play in. This was the largest project undertaken by the Community Clean Up team, spanning over a few weeks. The team started by removing the head-height weeds, brambles, dead tree branches, and started to clear the paths so the full extent of the site could be seen! The project is still underway – more details to follow!

Bucknall Park
The park had concentrated areas of litter, which had been left by groups hanging out in the park. The team cleared up the litter removing bottles, cans, and general rubbish. The Community Clean Up team visited the park and removed the litter, improving the look and making it more enticing for the local families to visit.

Baddeley Green Park
Baddeley Green Park, on the Miner’s Estate, had been sprayed with graffiti across the play equipment. The Community Clean Up team went in and did a great job of scrubbing off the graffiti and making it look nicer and more attractive to play in.
