The Red Industries football team took part in the Sellick Partnership charity football tournament, held at Powerleague in Stoke on 27th September.  The tournament is held annually to raise funds for the local Douglas Macmillan Hospice; this year an amazing £1,500.00 was raised for the charity.

Our team was unfortunately knocked out in the 2nd round, losing on penalties.  The team should be proud of their achievement scoring 10 goals in 4 games is impressive to say the least.

Everyone at RED wanted to say congratulations to the team, made up of:

Simon Anderson, Dan Knight, Sid Bromley, Shane Peel, Andrew Brodie, Joe Williams, John Cundall and not forgetting the manager; Mark Frost.

Every member of the RED team put in a great effort and we are looking forward to seeing them play again next year…
